Hot Cross Hoppenings
Huck has been placed with an incredible family from Rocky River, OH (our stomping grounds from many a moon ago.) Lauren M. and her two children are going to give Huck the loving home of which bunnies dream. We couldn't have asked for a nicer family for our sweet little chinchilla boy. We look forward to keeping in touch with Huck and his new people. :)
I know there are a few people waiting for this, so without further ado...
The orange and chestnut are both little does.
All three of the black torts are little bucks.
The smallest of the bucks (with the ears that have not lopped at all) is being supplemented with kitten formula. He is less than half the size of his littermates and we are very concerned about his lack of growth. He is eating well and gaining about .5 gram per day, but to say he is tiny and has a lot of growing to do would be an understatement. He weighed in at 27 grams today, while his brothers are 60 and 61 grams. We don't know if he will make it or not, but we are doing everything we can to help him. He will be staying with us until we are sure he is strong and healthy enough to be a wonderful, cuddly pet.
The other four bunnies in the litter will be listed on the Available Bunnies page soon. They will be ready to go on or after January 9th.
Dexter and Dandy are travelling to Michigan with their new family as I type this. It was really hard to say goodbye to those little bucks, but their wonderful new family could not have been nicer. We know that Logan and Lilly and the rest of the Y. family will take excellent care of them and keep us updated on their progress. We so hope that they are as happy with those two little bunny loves as we were. :)
Merry Christmas to you and your family from all of us at Hot Cross Buns! We hope you enjoy these videos of Dexter and Dandy. :) See you on Tuesday!
We wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas! The Charlie Buns have a new video to help put you in the Christmas Spirit. Enjoy!
We have an extra-special Christmas wish for you from an extra special bunny. :)

We heard from
In my haste to run out the door yesterday, I neglected to hit the "Publish" button to allow the new video to be visible on our site. All is up and running now, so please try visiting the Available Bunnies page (again) to see Huck & Finn in action. :) The new video is called "It's the Most Wonderful Time with Huck & Finn"
video is ready for viewing on the Available Bunnies page. These two little loves get more adorable every day! The video was supposed to be posted yesterday, but I spent a large chunk of the day at the emergency room with Child #3 whose asthma was acting up. He is doing much better today, praise God.
I have been having so much fun taking videos that I have been neglecting to take bunny still photos. I am hoping for a tripod for my birthday in a couple days, (or perhaps for Christmas) but have to wait and see if anyone took the gift idea hint. ;)
The charlie babies are doing beautifully and have amazing temperaments like their parents, Sweet Tart & Luigi. There's about a week and a half until tattooing and gender reveal day, so we are all on pins and needles to see what kinds of babies will be available for matching soon. Please fill out a New Bunny Questionnaire if you would like to be considered for one of theses little sweet peas. :)
have been listed on the Available Bunnies page. It has been a very difficult decision to make, loving them both as we do, but they deserve forever homes where they will be loved and cherished as the unique, special Buns they are. If you know anyone who might be interested in an older doe, please let them know about Abby and Charlotte. Thank you!
Amy is the Big Bunny at the Hot Cross Buns Holland Lop Rabbitry. She manages the furry bunnies as well as her own brood of five kits, with the help of her incredibly patient husband of nineteen years. Hot Cross Hoppenings will be a journal of our adventures in Holland Lop life.
