Amid all the Internet craziness, I couldn't announce some of our happy news for the week.
On Friday evening Waffles the broken chestnut doe went home with Rachael. It was a tough choice and I thought Toffee was going to be the blessed bunny in this matching session, but Waffles' playful antics won Rachael's fun-loving heart. She and her sister believed it was Waffles' "spiciness" that made her a better match. We were so happy to see that little girl go to her forever home and pray for a long, healthy relationship for them all.
On Sunday evening, little Dot, one of the broken black bucks, was selected by Julie B. and her daughters for their new little love. He melted their hearts, although it was a close call with Turnover vying for their attention. The text messages and face time cameras were going full steam to show the members of the family who couldn't make it to the matching session each of the possibilities. Everyone had a different favorite going into the appointment, but it was clear that Dot was their boy. We know he will be a beloved member of the family. Enjoy him!
