We agonized over finding the right home for Plum Bun and Luigi's fuzzy broken tort, Toffee. Several people indicated an interest in her, but they were always matched with a different bunny. While we were very happy for the other bunnies, we wondered when Toffee's new family would come along.
We are so happy to announce that Toffee is now in her new home with Holly W. and James. Holly, an artist, contacted us a couple weeks ago and said she had had her eye on this fuzzy little girl for quite a long time, but they were in the process of moving and she needed to wait until they were settled before coming forward. She was finally in a position to contact us and we were thrilled with this experienced bunny owner's knowledge and dedication to her past furry friends. Holly and I worked out a great barter. In exchange for Toffee (now named Mochi) Holly is designing a new banner and some other cute graphics for our website. We are so excited about the adorable designs she is creating for us and can't wait until everything is ready for a big reveal.
Holly and James came to pick up Mochi yesterday and we couldn't have been happier with the way they all took to each other! It was definitely love at first sight. Blessings to them all as they begin this new adventure together!
Amy is the Big Bunny at the Hot Cross Buns Holland Lop Rabbitry. She manages the furry bunnies as well as her own brood of five kits, with the help of her incredibly patient husband of nineteen years. Hot Cross Hoppenings will be a journal of our adventures in Holland Lop life.
