I fully confess to being a dinosaur when it comes to new technology. Up until a couple days ago, I was fully satisfied using my ancient flip phone and desktop computer to work. Did I mention I still have a landline? Correction: I had a landline until it stopped working and it was going to take almost three weeks for the company to come out and fix it because my internet service kept disconnecting every 30-90 seconds. Technically I still have a landline, but it won't be working for at least another week. My long-suffering husband went out and bought me a new phone that came with a data plan to keep my emails and New Bunny Questionnaires coming in. I sent my first text message ever yesterday.
I have been promising a bunny video for the past month and I had to bring my laptop up to the library in order to upload the thing, after approximately 9,999 attempts at uploading it at home while the server went down constantly. It has not been a pretty week at our house. Twice the upload made it into the 90% range before crashing. The shrieks could be heard all the way in Cleveland.
So the upside is that I have a video on my youtube page, but the downside is that I have no clue how to link in to my website. I'm working on it and I'm willing to learn, so I'm not completely relegated to dinosaur-hood...maybe. I must confess that texting makes me cuss every time I hit the wrong key (which, of course, is very often given the miniscule size of those keys...and I even have small fingers!) I miss my landline, not that the library isn't a nice place to be.
If you would like to see my really bad first attempt at video-making, the video is called "Pool Party, Bunny Style" and my youtube page is called Hot Cross Buns Holland Lops. If you leave a comment, please be really gentle!
Amy is the Big Bunny at the Hot Cross Buns Holland Lop Rabbitry. She manages the furry bunnies as well as her own brood of five kits, with the help of her incredibly patient husband of nineteen years. Hot Cross Hoppenings will be a journal of our adventures in Holland Lop life.
