Two of my children and I had the opportunity to take Licorice to his new classroom home this morning. We were greeted by so many excited people, children and adults alike. Everyone seemed to be genuinely happy about Licorice becoming a part of their lives. The students in Ms. Popelka's 5th grade class are bright, hard-working, kind young people. We were very impressed with how much time and effort they put into planning for Licorice's arrival. They had made homemade toys, typed up lists of questions for us to answer, written a special prayer of blessing for him, and even designed his own castle playhouse! We were so touched by the love and gentleness they have in their hearts. We have even been invited back to spend some more time getting to know them and to see how Licorice is getting along. We can hardly wait! Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and the love we know Licorice is going to receive from each and every one of you. Enjoy your bunny!
