the doe-drought. If you have been paying attention to our litters of late, you will have noticed that there has been only one doe in each litter, while we have had a plethora of bouncing baby bucks. I took a peek at Jane's litter last night and (at the 5 week mark) we appear to have 5 does and one buck in this litter. I would give this gender peek a 95% accuracy score at this point.
The little buck is the darkest of the solid babies. He is the second from the left in the picture below.
This has been a very mellow litter so far, and there are a couple of kissy babies who love to kiss people and littermates alike. We would be at a loss to choose which one is the sweetest or most adorable.
