We had not one, but two special treats today. This morning, two of the children and I were invited to visit our friends who have been taking such great care of Licorice, the classroom bunny. We spent time sharing bunny stories and answering questions, as well as doing a bunny nail clipping demonstration. Licorice still remembered us and came hopping right over for nose rubs and a snuggle. Thank you so much for inviting us back and for taking such great care of Milo, Ms. P. and your Fabulous Fifth Graders!
This evening we received a special email update from Kim A. and the last little black buck from Plum Bun and Joshua's litter. He is now named Milo and is living the life of a very pampered and well-beloved pet. He hangs out on the couch and has a wide variety of bunny-safe toys to play with. He looks a very happy boy. Thank you so much for letting us know how you and Milo are getting along, Kim!
Amy is the Big Bunny at the Hot Cross Buns Holland Lop Rabbitry. She manages the furry bunnies as well as her own brood of five kits, with the help of her incredibly patient husband of nineteen years. Hot Cross Hoppenings will be a journal of our adventures in Holland Lop life.
