We have been very busy getting the house put back together after a round of colds this week. I have a feeling today's snow would have been the highlight of the day if there weren't so many sneezy, wheezy kids in the house.
Our weekend started out on a very happy note. We went to visit our friends at Hook's to pick up our new little doe. She was named Mango on the trip home and< I must say, it suits her perfectly. Unexpected, sweet, with just enough tang to keep things interesting. Yep, that's our little Mango! Pictures of our newest little bun are on the Hot Cross Does page.
It is the plan that Mango is the last "outside" bunny we will purchase for quite some time. We hope to focus on developing our own well-known, well-respected lines in the future. That may be a lofty goal, but we think it will be attainable.
Amy is the Big Bunny at the Hot Cross Buns Holland Lop Rabbitry. She manages the furry bunnies as well as her own brood of five kits, with the help of her incredibly patient husband of nineteen years. Hot Cross Hoppenings will be a journal of our adventures in Holland Lop life.
