Our Process
Think of us as a bunny matching service. Yes, we may have several Available Bunnies, but you don't want just any bunny that looks cute. Our goal is finding the right bunny for the right home. A happy bunny is a joy to be with, but a miserable, upset bunny will soon bring a big case of buyer's remorse. We want our bunnies to go home with the families who are the absolute best fit for them, to ensure a happy relationship for all involved. When a bunny becomes available, it will be offered to the family who is the best match for that bunny's temperament, after also considering the family's desired color, gender, and age. For example if a family is seeking a young, blue tort buck for a pet in their outgoing, often rambunctious family, we will not match them with a quiet-natured young blue tort buck, because it would not be the best fit for that particular bunny. We might suggest an outgoing solid blue buck from a different litter instead, and the family could accept or decline.
From the time you make initial contact with us by answering the Bunny Questionnaire until you are offered a bunny, we are going to be emailing back and forth with you, asking and answering questions, trying to get to know you and your lifestyle well enough that we can get a clear picture of the kind of bunny that would make a happy addition to your home. We ask you to contact us at a minimum of every two weeks so we can keep the conversation going and get to know you well enough to help pick out a bunny that will bring you joy.

Mandy - Pet Doe Chestnut Parents: Batty & Joshua Born on June 15, 2018 Available Now $125 Mandy is a lovely young doe (we love her gorgeous coat and wonky ears that are part of her charm!), who is observant, playful, and adventurous in equal parts. She comes looking for pets and snuggles, but soon bounces off to inspect something that catches her attention. She is a bit nervous in new situations and will take some time to warm up to her new family, but it will happen with gentleness and patience on your part. All of our bunnies go to their new homes with a bag of transition food, hay, organic oats, a toy, resting mat, care sheets, and a birth certificate. As with all of our pet quality bunnies, spaying will be required for her long-term health and well-being. |

Blackberry - Pet Doe
Black Parents: Mango & Joshua Born on August 5, 2018 Available Now $125 Blackberry is a beautiful, glossy-coated doe with a loving, gentle nature. She enjoys snuggles, gentle play, and eating. She will explore a bit, but prefers to stay close to those she loves and trusts. Blackberry developed wry neck shortly before she was weaned and we kept her until we knew her treatment was successful and that she would be able to enjoy a full, healthy life with no concerns. (You can read about the cause of wry neck HERE) She has been a delight to us and we will hate to see her go, but this young lady deserves a home of her very own, where she will be encouraged to live life to the fullest with oodles of play and exercise time. Blackberry is not an active or energetic Bun; she is a sweet, quiet girl who does an occasional binky, but mainly enjoys hanging out with someone who will pet her and give her nose rubs. |

Sweet Pea - Pet Doe
Solid Blue Parents: Apple Jane & Wee Walter Born on December 7, 2018 Available on or after February 16, 2019 (give or take a week) - ON HOLD for Felicia F. $150 Sweet Pea is a beautiful little doe with a quiet disposition, although she can execute some mean binkies. Her temperament is a bit of an unknown at this point and we look forward to seeing her bloom in the next couple of weeks. Because her brother is a bit of a piggy when it comes to nursing, Sweet Pea and Tidbit are quite a bit smaller than we would like them to be at this stage in development. They are both receiving supplemental feeding and are continuing to grow steadily, but we will keep them until they turn 9 or 10 weeks of age (rather than the usual 8 weeks.) This is to ensure that they are in optimal health at the time they are placed with their new families. Weekly weigh-in results (all weights are taken prior to feeding Sweet Pea.) 2/11 AM 52.9g 9ml PM 53.3g 8ml 2/12 AM 55.6g 9ml PM 55.5g 10.5ml 2/13 AM 57.7g 9ml PM 57.8g 9ml 2/14 AM 58.0g 4ml PM 58.7g 2ml 2/15 AM 58.3g 12ml PM 57.6g 12ml 2/16 AM 59.5g 4.5ml PM 59.5g 9.5ml 2/17 AM 61.0 (yay!) - PM 62.7g 7ml |

With her wonky ears and inquisitive mind, she loves to explore and get into mischief. She is very tiny because her brother is a bit of a piggy when it comes to nursing.
